Melissa McCarthy is NOT your typical TV actress, Melissa McCarthy is a plus size woman actress, and funny as shit! She was great in Gilmore Girls and is wonderful today in Mike & Molly.

Congratulations from a fan Ms McCarthy, congratulations.

1. She stole "Bridesmaids" in my opinion....
...she is one funny funny person, and a great actor to boot.

4. Hence "great actor"
...and "thick"? Really? That's uncalled for and disrespectful.

6. I don't think so... I meant that 'less skinny one" as a way of identification.

the OP identifies her as 'plus size'. what's the diff?

2. She is very funny and I liked how they all ran onto the stage after Amy Poehler.

5. Two Ladies of Size - and One Little Person won
Great acting doesn't always come in a "pretty" package. In addition to Melissa McCarthy, Margo Martindale won Best Supporting Actress for "Justified", and Peter Dinklage won Best Supporting Actor for "Game of Thrones".

7. My lady and I join you in your applause
We love "Mike and Molly", and Ms. McCarthy did steal the show in "Bridesmaids". Glad to see that "heroin chic" does not rule all of Hollywood.

9. That is what Mike and Molly is all about
Not a funny show at all.
