Obama plan would tax hedged manager compensation as ordinary income instead of cap gains
He also would tax the carried interest, or profits-based compensation, of private equity managers, real estate investors and venture capitalists as ordinary income, instead of more lightly taxed capital gains, and limit the oil and gas industry’s ability to claim domestic manufacturing deductions for drilling.

6. That would be good. But I'd prefer an easier solution: eliminating the separate rates for cap gains

entirely.

Serves no purpose except freebies to capital.

They're drowning in money as it is, they don't need tax breaks to help them accumulate more.

The justification is supposedly "risk" but it;s pretty clear they never take any risks. When they screw up the gov't bails them out.

Fuck them all.

7. As if we'll be fooled by your posting this
Most of your posts seem to attack Social Security or to express 'concern' about its status.

Yet you're still here. which leaves many of us wondering, 'Why?'
