4. Still? You mean some people actually did?
She was a clown from day one of her media creation.

5. I don't remember anyone taking her seriously.
Not really anyway. There were some people scared of her here and there but for the most part I don't know of anyone who ever truly took her seriously.

6. I can't believe anyone of ANY political stripe takes ANY Republican candidate seriously.
Bush times 10 isn't a political candidate, it's a comedy act. They're a PLAGUE, even the libertarian's precious Ron Paul.

How they can get up there and talk about how Supply Side is so awesome when it has absolutely NO successful track record to run on should tell you more than you need to know. You would think.

26. No. She's a joke.
Now that they've got a white dude from Texas to fill that valence, both she and Bachmann are done.

9. Well, if this nation can trot out the Kardashians, Snooky & The SItuation,
Bad Girls, and Real Housewives from Hell and call those offerings "art", it is equally capable of putting that trashy Faux diva in the WH.

11. I don't think she will run...
but if she does it's proof she is as loony as we think she is. She has to know that running at this point will only make her look ridiculous because she has 0 chance of winning in a general election.

17. She won't run. She's too lazy to fill out the paperwork.
Also too lazy to hire someone to fill it out.

22. Nah--too much work and too little money. She'll flirt with it up to the last possible

moment to milk it for as much media coverage as possible, becuase that is how she makes her living, but she would never give up her cushy, well-paid scam. Ahe already quit one elected position in order to cash in on her 15 minutes. No way she would risk losing the income from the lst few of those minutes to take on an actual job.

She will, however, dangle her endorsement, in hopes of garnering a bit more attention and coverage from the "Will she or won't she endorse X?" question.

12. I think the whole "will she or won't she" thing has backfired...
Her followers are going absolutely nuts...the INTERNET is turning speculation into rumors.

There was this incident on Friday

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2779422/posts

Backstory: The true believers had perpetuated a rumor that she would announce on Constitution Day - and mixed that with another claim that she promised two Alaska Morning Zoo DJs that she would announce on their show...

The Freeper thread is hilarious...it just shows how you can choose to believe anything...no matter how obvious it is that you're wrong. The were seriously Punkd or Pwnd or whatever that expression is.

13. Her "fans" took her seriously, and the media put her out there as a serious candidate.
They did everything they could to cover her stupidity.
As hard as they tried, her fans are down to few (freepers, lol) and the turkeys are coming home to roost.

Her moose is cooked.

15. Oh and BTW. Sarah made my week better.
It was a rough one with Eleanor Mondale and Kara Kennedy both passing, as I'm going through treatment myself, but the Palin shadenfreude was a welcome diversion and provided some humor!

When I first looked at her credentials I said "is this a joke?" .

I knew at that point McLame was not to be taken seriously.

19. The question should be...
has anyone every taken failin quitter seriously?

she was nothing more than a political grifter side show.

she worked the system for all it's worth.

many here honestly took her psychosis as reality. I saw through it from the beginning. (I have had the illustrious pleasure of having cousins that were grifters).

failin quitter ran the biggest con ever. Now the trick for her is to try and parlay it into a full time tv gig. Reality show failed, her sometime bobble head talking point gig on faux news is pretty much dead. I'm thinking a spot on some sort of crappy morning show or a recurring spot in the view. And hilarity ensues.

She knew from the start that she never had what it took to be a real politician. People demand things. She doesn't like that. She wants to be the "demander".

She made buckets of money, she has a trademark and copy-write. She now is invested in the marketing of her brand.

She having the non-campaign campaign does all of her marketing for her. She will always have the devoted mouth breathing base. They will eat up everything she says and compulsively buy anything she shits out.

Some time in the next 15-20 years, she will be hawking some bullshit item in the wee hours of tv, usually reserved for "vegi-matics", to the up all night to stupid for sleep brain dead supporters.

A presidential candidate? Never.

A money-grubbing fund-raising media-whore? Always.
