10. This guy is crying because he can't go shopping as much as he wants |
|
but he goes shopping for things like rare wines, Cuban cigars, and more stocks. Maybe he's got a high maintenance trophy babe for a wife and she wants to redecorate the "executive home" every couple of years.
Poor baby has just never read any Quentin Crisp, "Don't try to keep up with the Joneses, drag them down to your level."
He's an idiot. He needs to be brought back to reality, preferably through taxes.

Of course, I'd also pay whatever taxes the government asked of me.

5. Dang - I could pay off college costs for all six of my kids, put a new roof on the |
|
house, replace the windows and attach a green house.
and still have money left over!
really - I could fix up my house to exactly how I want it and have money left over. I have no idea what I'd do with another $400,000 next year!

14. I was thinking of a good school -- you know, one of those non-profit REAL universities |
|
I'm thinking 20 grand a year.
And we'd probably buy a house and still have money left over. We don't need a 5 car garage and a helicopter pad.
But I'd love an acre for a real garden, and a root cellar and greenhouse for me.

13. That's $400k Left Over... |
|
He claimed he needed $600k to raise his family. The 400k goes to buying a yacht or, more than likely, put into an interest bearing account that will generate 25Gs a year taxed at 15%. Plus he still has the 400k. The rushpublican looked the fool, but a rich one. He's got his and he's gonna fight to keep his perks. Will Democrats fight as hard as he does??

23. Make sure that the local crisis assistance agencies could help anyone who asked... |
|
Our little college town has a higher-than-average cost of living (due to landlords, etc... trying to suck every penny of parents' money/financial aid they can), and a lot of the local, year-round residents are financially struggling if not outright poor. There are several local charities and non-profits (some religious, some secular) who offer assistance with avoiding evictions and utility shut-offs, provide food (including pet food) and clothing, or provide free job training for those seeking to increase their skill-set in hopes of getting a job that will actually pay the bills.
If i had that much left over after taking care of my employees and my family? So much of it would go to these organizations... because in this area, what they do saves people's lives.

i saw it first hand the best lead ever for Obama. I am very curious to see how this bites him in the ass. People seem to concentrate on sound bites such as this to frame an issue, he just bought the fair and balanced tax issue for himself and hopefully for the GOP.

Build a nice little cabin and live off the land. Live cooperatively with my neighbors so that when I go trekking they will help look after my critters and whatever.
IOW, I would live. In relative stability. In peace.
