Just watched Robert Reich singing Obama's praises on O'Donnell. |
|
Says that Obama's plan is great, and that he's kicking ass and taking names. I wonder how long before someone comes along to declare Reich is a DLC corporate running dog lackey.

I don't know. I like and have great regard for him. I don't think he sells out, but ya never know....

5. Yeah, and Trumka threatened to withhold labor support from Democrats... |
|
...except that if you read the actual interview, and not just the snippets that got wide distribution, that's the opposite of what he's saying.
Media headlines blow.

It's Obama who's changing his tune, not Reich.
We'll see if Obama follows through.

7. Reality doesn't back up your statement. |
|
Obama is presenting sensible policies supported by most Americans--basically the same thing he's done throughout his tenure. The difference is that because his tone was more aggressive, reflecting the end of the "governing" period of his first term and the beginning of the reelection campaign, suddenly Reich approves of it. Nevermind the fact that Obama has been making basically the same points for two years.
