I have one question for all Tea Partiers: |
|
Where the hell were you when George Bush increased the national debt by more than any other president in history (including Obama)?

They have said so.
They didn't like that either.
It' s just for some reason no one saw or heard them until after a black guy became President.
(probably because most tea party groups didnt' form until after January 2009)

Because their entire premise that they were as much against GOP spending is a huge sham and I was being sarcastic?

10. the repug tea party formed |
|
after the corporate media basically said the repug party is gone because of what little boots did. Now how do we save the repug party? Well, we'll get rich corporate and personal donors to fund a movement of overzealous, pro-corporate anti-government repugs and call it a "grass roots" movement. And then the corporate media can follow their every move, even if they have less than ten people at a rally, to validate the movement.
Of course, it helps if you have some bigots in the group. The tea party can have selective memory--it wasn't the previous administration who caused this disaster, or the previous administration caused the disaster, but this one is making it worse, so let's vote for even more hard core sociopathic anti-government, deregulating, pro-global corporation candidates so they can just finish off those that don't deserve to be here.
And I'd say that even Goldwater and Nixon are spinning in their graves.

11. Why did tea party groups not form until after Jan 2009? |
|
For the same reason that the anti-war movement all but dissolved that same month.

12. That's not true; they started during TARP, in 2008 |

And actually I'd say the first rumblings were heard when W tried to push immigration reform in ought-seven.
They just didn't get media coverage until 2009

They were sitting in their living rooms, watching FOX News tell them how WONDERFUL George W. Bush was, and how GREAT of a leader he was, and how it was the ANTI-AMERICAN LIBERALS who were trying to undermine the greatest and bravest American President ever! He saved us from 9-11 don't you know?
These people are a special breed of stupid I have yet to find a way to measure.

So there was nothing for them to worry about.
They want their country back from the black man.

8. I knew a few who disliked the shrub |

One guy I worked with in the early to mid 2000's always complained he was a big spender, and not conservative enough. I asked him who he liked, and he replied Pat Buchanan.
