2. rice and pasta always go a long way too
i really feel for this poor guy
do you see how even at that rate he sees himself as not wealthy?
incredible to me
i have been to La and while a beautiful state it doesnt have many people who would look at 400000 a year and go "woe is me"

5. I'd like to find him coupons for Tiffany's.
Maybe Gingrich can help him out with that. However, this is a great idea. Plus we'll be helping out the post office by using actual stamps.

9. He could also be relieved of needing to subsist on his $174k Congressional salary.
He'd do much better if he didn't have to have a home in Washington on less than $500 a day. ;-)

10. It Wasn't 400k, It Was 600k...
He said that he needed $600k to "raise his family"...of which we've found out were grown children. The 400k is what he had left over to "re-invest"...more like stick in some interest bearing account and then make even more money paying capital gains or less.
