Sharing reality with Congressman Fleming & the aritocracy
Edited on Tue Sep-20-11 11:45 AM by BanzaiBonnie
Many of us feel we are blessed to be able to meet our physical needs. Our lives are worthwhile and have meaning. Sometimes, there are simple pleasures of enjoyment of which we can partake. Our lives are full of wonder and we feel rich.

But there are many, right here in the United States who go hungry every day now. Yes, they may have a television in the house. But they bought it when there was work and they had a paycheck. Now, it’s either pay the electric bill or feed the kids. And more than ever before, some don’t even have a house.

Then, there’s another group of citizens. They’re known as the “have mores” or those with the top 5% of income. This small percentage of the population is sucking up the wealth of nations around the world. And they’re NEVER satisfied.

Take Congressman Fleming, who after he feeds his family, only has $400,000 left each year. He is isolated from any kind of shared reality with the rest of us. And he believes he “deserves” to keep what he has. You know, because he works so hard. Talk about ENTITLEMENTS! Talk about aristocracy!

The thing is, money is just an abstraction representing labor/energy. And when these folks at the top hoard the energy, when they stop the flow, the system dies. And that’s what we’re facing, the imminent possibility of the death of our economic system.

This is not about class warfare. That’s nonsense. Because liberals really look at themselves as being fair to everyone, we then bend over backward to PROVE we are fair and reasonable. We are not promoting class warfare. But this is not the time to let our collective ego, how we view ourselves, get in the way of reality. We need a shared reality with the aristocracy.

They owe it to the general population, to put the monies they’ve been hoarding back into circulation and I can’t think of a better way to do that than for them to pay more in taxes. After all, everything they have has been created out of the system and our labor. Time to end their entitlements.
