Florida Keys off-shore drilling to start in December!

..until I see it is a Spanish company drilling with Cuba. thank God! For a minute I thought the president gave in to the f'n greedy oilmen.

I'm sure the keys will remain pristine since the people's republic of cuba will be taking care of the operation. Good luck comrades!

AFAIK, they all oppose it and they control Florida.

The politicians in Florida can't do anything about it. Maybe we can get a progressive delegation from congress go down and talk the Cubans out of developing oil fields and invest in green energies instead. It's working here. We finally idled all those nasty rigs on our gulf coast.
