Conservatives to stage rally supporting Alabama’s new law against illegal immigrants

Tea Party conservatives are planning a rally in support of Alabama’s new law against illegal immigration.

Members of the Rainy Day Patriots are staging a demonstration in favor of the Republican-backed law in Hoover on Tuesday evening. Organizers say they hope to send a message to a federal judge who’s currently deciding whether to uphold the law.

U.S. District Judge Sharon Blackburn of Birmingham has put the law on hold until she decides whether it’s constitutional. Supporters of the law say states should have the right to crack down on illegal immigration because the federal government isn’t doing enough.

Among other things, the law makes it a crime to knowingly hire or assist an illegal immigrant.

Check out the comments. Even at the Washington Post teabaggers make all the comments.

1. The comments are Klan-ariffic.
Why is it that so many right wing comments appear all over. I firmly refuse to believe that we are literally outnumbered.

Are they better organized? Are these people actually being paid to do this? Is it professionals doing this? Is it computer software posting as if it were people?

What's the scoop?

2. I wager that the rally will draw somewhere between 50 and 100 baggers.

3. Ought to let it pass just so they can see half of the state get arrested
for hiring or "assisting"...

Of course then, teabaggers will be crying about "big government overreach"
