2. They are infamous for ads like this. On a recent drive down the FDR highway they had a billboard |

That said: DON'T store your items outside the city, they may come back as republicans!

13. On the mundane level, their service is good, too. |

I had some stuff at one of their locations for a while. The facility is excellent and the staff was always knowledgeable and helpful.

16. yes, one of many reasons to be proud to be a new yorker |
|
i'm sure many tourists who come here and ride the subways go back and talk about how liberal new york city is.
i'm so proud to live in the bluest of blue american cities.
i was once at la guardia airport one morning, waiting for a flight, standing in the food court checking out breakfast options. a woman was standing out in the middle of the waiting space all by herself, crying. i went up to her and asked her if she was ok, and she said yes, but that this was her first time visiting new york city, and she was leaving, going back to kansas. but she had fallen in love with new york city and she didn't want to go back.
i tried to comfort her saying we would always be here, waiting for her to come back.
but i totally understood her.
most love it or hate it. it is really hard to be indifferent about nyc.
