This story written by the AP, about the police beating of a homeless man, does not mention the name of the town in which it happened.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/44612890/ns/us_news-crime_and_courts/

How can this news source be taken seriously with this kind of report.
I found out it was Fullerton Ca. And I do recall the incident. But this report ,that I saw today, does not mention that.
Wouldn't any writer tell exactly where this happend?
I have read the story 3 times, do not see a name of the town. (about 4pm)

Why not?

2. The information is in he associated video.
It should have been in the written story, too, but this is a national news outlet. The video tells the story much better.

3. Well see you were expecting news..
Stuff like who, what, why, where, when and so on..

What you actually get these days is a processed homogenized pasteurized news like product known as n00z.

5. Orange County is the MOST FASCIST, REDDEST COUNTY IN THE WORLD
Orange County is the most conservative county, per $$$/capita, in the world. So the Fullerton PD is indicative of the racist, corporatist mindset that the republican party represents. If we render the GOP illegal, then we can also destroy much of OC's influence.

Pepper California's representatives to denigrate OC to the ash heap of societal despondancy. NOW!!

6. It may have been picked up from a local affiliate.
The article refers to the cop as a "Fullerton officer", so I'm guessing it was written for local consumption and was picked up (without change) for national.
