4. What good is "legal representation" when the law is rigged against you?
Nice try,

This has everything to do with Ghost of the South. Open your eyes.

5. I'm sorry, but isn't "life" always "life"?
Are you saying one life is more valuable than another?

Because if you are, you are wrong. VERY wrong.:eyes:

7. LOL!....
I call bullshit! The fact this person might be innocent should matter that much more...those are the very people those so called pro life movements should be speaking up and out for.

13. Because fetuses in the womb are not 'persons' who have a right
to legal representation. The fetus' representation is vested in its Mother.

14. Wow, what total bullshit.
So legal reprepsentation can play God with an adult's life, but the carrier of the unborn who risks her life to carry the fetus to term has no say?

16. First of all, they are not BABIES.
They are embryos or fetuses.

Second of all, they are part of a woman's body and what she does with her body is NONE OF YOUR FUCKING BUSINESS.

And finally, buh bye.

I've been wondering lately: If Troy Davis were a month-old fetus, would he have been saved?

17. Good grief. Nutty self-described "pro-lifers" aren't REALLY pro-life.
They specialize in branding themselves with labels & messaging that (they think) gives them the moral high ground.

Credibility is lost in the "pro-life" meme when these same nutbags stand behind a shoot-from-the-hip "decider-in-chief" who bombed the hell out of innocent people & their cities (only to spend billions in rebuilding them); when they laughingly yell out "yes!" to whether or not an uninsured person should be allowed to die; when they write in to newspapers to express their opinions in the most vulgar, crass tones that a man should be murdered executed despite nothing but troublesome "evidence"; when they are in love with guns to the extent that they view guns as a way to settle political disagreements.

Share your fairy-tale rationale where it will be appreciated. People here at DU know better; we're more informed.

8. Most of these people...
Are pro-death. They glorify death and suffering and make one OSTENSIBLE exception for zygotes and bi-cellular organisms.

What most of these people "think" goes beyond cognitive dissonance. They actually have no respect for life in any form, and this moral high ground of being pro-baby is just smoke and mirrors.

you shouldn't be posting over at F.R.?

...Pro-fetus

Pro-War/Military

Pro-Genocide

Pro-Torture

War is peace. Freedom is Slavery. Ignorance is Strength.

Next question?

21. where are they? they're commenting on various new stories about the execution
complaining about how people are all up in arms about this death, but not about the millions of unborn children who are murdered every day by the evil, baby-murdering liberals.

Sometimes mixed in with some kind of comment about how proud they are of America for continuing to execute people.
