Is Barbara WALTERS *anything* or anybody?!1
This is brought on by her performance today on her product, "The View" where she trashed her guest Joe McGINNIS, author of the TRUE gossip trash book on Quitter Trash person.

She's a "journalist." Yeah, right. She's an icon. She's a world class (what).

I'm sure she read the book of the person she was interviewing, yet she went on the attack and she regurgitated scripts by Quitter and Glen BecKKK.

Do WOMEN and/or JOURNALISTS look up to this person?!1 For sure, when her obituary is published she will be cited as an ICON. At least somebody said that her CONTRIBUTION to journalism/media/whatever was that she BLURRED THE LINE between news and entertainment.

3. She's jumped the shark in recent years.
I thought she was a good journalist at one time although I never really cared for her personally.

4. She broke a lot of ground for women in journalism.
First woman (co-)anchor on a network news show, for instance. And she didn't get there by being cute and perky.

So, today's performance aside, let's giver her her due.
