I can't seem to find it among the many web pages concerning this execution.

1. Troy Davis' sister says they don't want close family members
and that twice now, the warden has disallowed the witnesses Troy asked for.

4. That seems unusual.
I was under the impression that the condemned was usually allowed whomever he chose under most circumstances.

5. This warden wouldn't even let Davis take a lie detector test!
Ben Jealous was just on with Rachel and my mouth was hanging open when he was talking about this. The Warden had said to him "I was in law enforcement years ago". Ben Jealous said he didn't know what that was supposed to mean, but I think he does, think it kind of smacks of killing the cop killer, whether or not he killed the cop. Crazy!

2. I don't know about Georgia specifically...
but I think the condemned and the victims' immediate families are each allowed to request a certain number of witnesses. Law enforcement officers involved in the case are also sometimes included.
