Scalia: Killing innocent men not unconstitutional.

Bush Jr appointed 2 of these clowns- Bush Jr who laughed at and mocked requests for clemency with 'boo hoo' gestures.

14. American justice system - hang your head in shame.
"If you lock someone up for life, you take him off the streets, but you can later release him and compensate him if you discover that you made an error. If you kill him, you no longer have that option and you also send a message that violent solutions -- executions -- are approved by the state."

29. The guy on w/Ed said that the SCOTUS has a different legal
criteria regarding this -- or something -- and so he wasn't really surprised.

Maybe as we learn more about the legalities we'll understand it better but hell, how COULD they??? Seems pretty cut and dried to me!

dissenting votes don't write an opinion.

There can be dissenting votes with or without an opinion, and with or without any notation on the order. So I don't see how DN could know.

I was assuming the reason for a delay was that they we're waiting for an opinion, but apparently there are no opinions. So we will probably never know, as is the case most of the time.

as I saw all those cops in riot gear brought in and police cars driving around with lights and sirens earlier.

I'm sorry for all involved.
