Apparently, public citizen activism is only good for people who live over there. |
|
I am disgusted with the lack of support in the U.S. for our youth who are putting their liberty on the line for grievances that are expressed here ad nauseum.
Tacoma teachers are striking... crickets.
A couple of hundred young adults are occupying Wall St... crickets. (Did you know that the Spanish take overs of the public squares started with about 30 people?)
The rest of the world is watching. Via twitter trends, there are as many people in Europe participating on twitter (#occupywallstreet) as there are people in the U.S. They want U.S. activists to succeed... crickets.

1. There were citizens gathering all across the U.S. protesting this. Where were you? On DU? |

2. There are actually people who give up their internet time and TV time to meet with |
|
like-minded people to work on plans of action and then perform those plans of action.
They stand on street corners, and knock on doors, and make phone calls and go as a group to their local and state reps and make a case.
