Troy Davis should be riding the midnight train to Georgia.
Video of Gladys Knight and the Pips performing "Midnight Train to Georgia" on The Midnight Special during the 1970s.

Lyrics: if you replace "L.A." with "Death row", that could be Davis' song.

In the meantime, America must DISSOCIATE with the barbaric, anti-democratic countries that continue to carry out the death penalty on a regular basis, such as China, Iran, North Korea, and Saudi Arabia. Look how much money has gone down the drain just to carry out an excessive punishment that doesn't do much to deter crime and serves more like a state-sanctioned form of vigilante Wild West justice than advancing public safety. Meanwhile, Canada, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand all do not use capital punishment, and as a result is there a surge in mass murders and shooting cops for sport going on there? NO!

Oh, Gladys Knight also did a song in 1973 that also should go out to Davis and his family: "".
