When was the last time a well to do murderer was executed....
Someone famous because they were rich, someone who could afford the best justice that money can buy.

How can anyone on the right call this country a just country, a Christian Nation, if you will, when there is one set of laws that apply to the rich and quite another that apply to the rest of us.

In America, Justice has a blindfold, but as justice is applied, mammon is surely involved...

4. OJ sure as hell got off...
No conviction, even.

And he surely deserved to be convicted.

There were a series of mistakes by the prosecution which allowed this huge miscarriage of justice.

I can't remember the name of the author who wrote the book about this trial. "Outrage" I think it was called. I could not finish reading it, it was so painful.

5. They did not pursue the death penalty in his case
The DA figured that getting a conviction would be hard enough being up against OJ's Dream Team, and a death penalty conviction would be even harder. So they did not pursue it. But I think they would have if OJ was just some street kid using the public defender.

9. Thanks! I cannot ever remember his name.
He also wrote a wonderful true crime story called "And the Sea Will Tell." It's set on the South Sea island of Palmyra. I could not put it down.
