As a police officer I'm usually skeptical of those who claim innocence in the face of overwhelming evidence. I've followed the Troy Davis case with interest since 2008. I've read all I could from the prosecution and defense. Tonight I feel we ( We meaning US our society) have executed an innocent man. My heart and prayers go out to both "victims"families. One innocent life taken by this system is ONE too many!!

3. A conservative Christian nation thinks otherwise. |

I am not sure how a "Christian Nation" can support government run capital punishment when their own Messiah was a victim of it under the Romans. If the passion story is not an example of capital punishment gone awry I don't know what is. I guess they didn't read that part and I guess we still haven't figured out 2+2=4.
