Meg Whitman poised to run HP further into the ground

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Meg Whitman is expected to be named chief executive of Hewlett-Packard Co. after the market close Thursday, according to technology blog AllThingsD, citing multiple sources. H-P's board has yet to officially vote on the move, the blog reported, but sources say it is "nearly a done deal." AllThingsD, like MarketWatch, is owned by News Corp. Whitman, the former CEO of eBay Inc. EBAY and former California governor candidate, has been regarded as one of the frontrunners for the position following reports that H-P's board is ready to oust CEO Leo Apotheker, who has helmed H-P for just under a year.

4. Thank God (is dead) she didn't win the election to become governor of California!
My condolences to HP. She'll probably ruin it like she ruined eBay.

5. HP hasn't recovered from that right wing greedhead Carly Fiorina. They want Meg Whitman now?
What the hell? Are they purposely trying to drive the company into the ground and make a profit out of that?
