Larry Flynt offering $1,000,000 for dirt on Rick Perry
http://www.tmz.com/2011/09/22/larry-flynt-rick-perry-presidential-candidate-illicit-sexual-affair-liaison-hustler-magazine-1-million-dollars-bounty/#.TnuLduzTDPY

Hustler Magazine publisher Larry Flynt is putting GOP Presidential candidate Rick Perry in his crosshairs ... he'll be offering up to $1 million for anyone who can prove Perry has had an illicit sexual liaison ... TMZ has learned.

The ad -- which Flynt will take out in various newspapers -- says, "Have you had a gay or straight sexual encounter with Governor Rick Perry?"

Flynt -- clearly not a fan of Perry, who opposes same-sex marriage and is generally very conservative on social issues -- has done this before, but didn't limit his targets to Republicans. In 1998, he offered a similar bounty for dirt on Bill Clinton. And he's made similar offers for info on all members of Congress...

control you. Of course there are pictures. It's always been a chase for pictures. Someone had pics in Watergate, someone had pics in the America Media Bldg. anthrax case. It's hard to get to them...

If he got caught with his pants down, he will just say that he has repented and God has forgiven him, just like Dubya in his campaign.

other women for their "immoral" ways.

Morality is subjective - not fixed by Dr. Laura's fake Gawd so that she can shame others for doing what she did.

23. i am always a little surprised and a bet disgusted at the wiggle room us liberals allow
ourselves in our own hypocrisy.

the reality is... this young woman had her relationship with a bf and entrusted him in their privacy. the majority, vast majority, would have issue with any X-bf violating a GF privacy by putting the pictures out, pictures that are meant to be kept private. at the least, we would feel privacy was invaded, and the X trash. but here we glorify it. and praise the man that has absolutely no ethical stance, yet exploits. the argument for flynt and his porn is the women are willing. obviously he exploits the nonwilling, too.

hypocrisy at its most

10. He's come out with a few stories over the years... catch is, there's never evidence.
And $1 million is a hell of a lot of money to motivate people to just make shit up, too. So it makes anything he comes out with hard to give credence to unless there's photographic evidence.

17. How about almost-Speaker of the House Bob Livingston (R-LA)?
updated 6/9/2011 2:11:54 PM ET
Print Font:
Guests: Larry Flynt, Terry O‘Neill
RACHEL MADDOW, HOST: Good evening, Lawrence. Thanks very much.
And thanks to you at home for staying with us for the next hour.

Reward—Larry Flynt and “Hustler” magazine announce a cash offer of up to $1 million. Have you had an adulterous sexual encounter with a current member of the United States Congress or a high-ranking government official? Can you provide documentary evidence of elicit sexual relations with a congressman, senator or other prominent office-holder? Larry Flynt and “Hustler” magazine will pay you up to $1 million if we choose to publish your verified story and use your material.
This was a full page ad that ran in “The Washington Post” on Sunday, October 4th, 1998, during the supercharged Bill Clinton impeachment saga. One million dollars if you can provide evidence that you had an affair with a high-ranking government official. A million bucks from Larry Flynt and “Hustler” magazine.
Not long after that full page ad was published in that Sunday edition of “The Washington Post”—success. Larry Flynt and “Hustler” magazine‘s quest uncovered the hypocrisy they were looking for.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Tonight, the search underway for the next speaker of the House. The last man in line for that job has resigned.
BOB LIVINGSTON, FORMER U.S. CONGRESSMAN: I must set the example that I hope President Clinton will follow. I will not stand for speaker of the House on January 6th.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
MADDOW: Republican Congressman Bob Livingston in line then to become the next speaker of the House, but forced to resign after Larry Flynt and “Hustler” magazine got the goods on him. They were about to reveal that Bob Livingston, the guy busy impeaching Bill Clinton, Bob Livingston had himself been unfaithful to his own wife. Not news in itself necessarily, but definitely news in context because of the crusade that Mr. Livingston was on as a congressman and a political leader at the time. It was blatant, humiliating hypocrisy.
The reveal of that and the shocking resignation of Bob Livingston when everybody thought he was about to be speaker of the House, that happened on the same day that the House of Representatives voted to impeach Bill Clinton. At the time, it was just as shocking, which, of course, was the point.
After he resigned, Bob Livingston was replaced in Congress by a young, family values politician who had this to say about the whole sordid Bob Livingston affair. Quote, “I think Livingston stepping down makes a very powerful argument that Clinton should resign as well and move beyond this mess.”
That young family values politician went on to have a really bright career in Congress. He campaigned on stuff like protecting the sanctity of marriage. He co-authored the federal marriage amendment to keep gay people from getting married because that kind of marriage is of lower moral class than the kind of marriage that he had.
That young family values politician is a man you may have heard of, his name is David Vitter. David Vitter inherited Bob Livingston‘s seat in the House of Representatives after Bob Livingston had to resign in disgrace over his Bob Livingston sex scandal. David Vitter then went on to become a U.S. senator. And, frankly, he didn‘t really make much of a national impression until about eight years later, until about eight years later when Larry Flynt and “Hustler” magazine struck again.

21. Something did come of his exposing the hypocrites who went
after Clinton. In many ways he helped save Clinton's presidency. While the hypocrites were all over TV moralizing about family values, thanks to a similar effort by Larry Flint, their supposedly squeaky clean new Speaker at the time, who was being held up as a shining example of Family Values, by comparison to Clinton, was exposed as having an even worse record of not-so-family values.

Livingston had to step down and the Republicans were exposed as the hypocrites they are. Flint decided not to reveal all he had on Livingston after he heard from his wife. He stated that his wife as a 'nice lady' and didn't want to hurt her, and there was no need to do anything more at that point.

He also exposed others involved in the Clinton witch hunt and claimed he had lots more which, if Clinton WAS convicted in the Senate, he would reveal. Since that didn't happen, he ended his exposures having, as he said, 'made my point'.

I don't like this kind of thing. But apparently Republicans have no shame about pointing fingers at others even when they are engaged in doing exactly what they are condemning in others. As Larry said when asked about exposing Democratic 'sins', 'well, they are not going around preaching about family values or using it to take down someone else'. Or words to that effect.

If they start a war on Democrats, which is what they were doing back then, then they should not be surprised if someone uses their own weapons against them. I think he taught them a good lesson which they were literally asking for.

sink sink sink.

Huntsman or Romney will be the nominee.

Sad thing is that Huntsman could beat Obama in my humble opinion. He is about as middle as it gets and with the suffering in this country he could win. Sad thing is that he is a middle road poser. Make no mistake. He knows what he is doing. Look at his history because he is NOT under the scope and may not very well be until it's too late. Romney has a ground game like no other that he built for 10 years plus.

We need Obama to start campaigning NOW!

who had had an affair. He got Bob Livingston, who was the Speaker at the time of Clinton's Impeachment. I think (?) garbage came out about Bob Barr and Newt too. That's when we learned about Newt leaving his wife while she was in the hospital with cancer. Bob Barr had had an affair while married. That was all thanks to Larry who wanted to show how hypocritical the Rethugs are.

He offered up that reward during the Clinton Impeachment fiasco.

I, along with Oliver Stone, believe Larry Flynt was shot because of his intentions to find out who was behind Kennedy assassinations. This site is authoritative and closed to all but serious authors and researchers.
