Meg Whitman, CEO - HP stock hits 52 week low.

The Street doesn't like it.

"..we are disappointed with the naming of Meg Whitman as HP’s permanent CEO, and believe that this sentiment is shared by most investors and large HP shareholders, .... We view the lack of a comprehensive search of internal and external candidates for a permanent CEO role as unsatisfactory and unnecessarily hasty…HP could have – and should have – looked to attract a highly talented executive with a strong track record in operations and capital deployment from a large multinational company, likely outside the tech industry.”

1. Oh Meg!
Tech Companies and conservative ideology don't mix... tech companies need to create new innovative products, not outsource jobs to increase a Quarterly Report.

HP deserves to tank for their decision.

6. Hopefully it won't tank until after Feb. of 2015...
My husband started out with EDS. Ross Perot was in charge. He was a goof, but I will always respect him for his families first stance. His employees were treated very well.

When EDS was sold off to HP a couple years back, they slammed my husband and most of the others with a 23% pay cut. Not a whole lot of options when one is 60 years old, so he stayed. Given how much everything costs now, I figure we are in the same financial boat as we were 20 years ago.

Whitman is a major mistake.

Screw HP...just not yet.

3. I'm sure she will be well rewarded for failure
Probably within a year she will walk away with millions more. Such is life for the 'job creators', they get well paid no matter how badly they do their jobs.

4. I don't like the woman. Now that HP has a face, I will not buy!!
No christmas purchases by me. I do not like this woman. She is just another hustler who lies, cheats and ignores. When people have to stoop to deception to win, they are not smart enough to do it the right way. That tells you a whole lot about the lack of substance that is Meg Whitman.
