Attention CURRENT TV - Occupy Wall Street is your Casey Anthony Trial Moment ! |
|
You could be giving this story good coverage and supplementing it with Vanguard type stories that relate all around it.
Word could spread.
People WOULD tune in.
Think of the notoriety possibilities and give the people what they want!
If not now, when?

1. Or the "hostages in Iran" moment |
|
ABC's late night news with Ted Koppel gained few viewers until they started a countdown of the number of days the American hostages in Iran had been held captive. Of course, this played into Ronald Reagan's and George H. W. Bush's hands. The whole thing set ABC late night news as a staple of ABC's line up and gave the program some dubious credibility.

3. He has been the only progressive host covering it, he even talked about the blackout. |
|
I don't get what you mean "U there Keith" he's BEEN there while Rachel and Ed were missing in action. He gave no indication of stopping the coverage.

4. I understand, I watch Countdown, I'm talking about more intensive Current Network coverage that |
|
Keith would be well suited for. I'm talking about the way CNN practically took over the Casey Anthony case on television and got attention, viewers and ratings for it. I was thinking the same tactic might work to get Current TV some attention and that Keith might take such an idea to his boss, Al Gore, and take on the 'man on the street' reporting duties.

12. Yes, the Ted Koppel/Iran hostages/Nightline thing. Create your own niche. |
|
A rare opportunity.
Come on, Keith!

9. Well, they all get permits or something when they set up broadcasts near conventions, etc..... |
|
Nancy Grace and Jane something or other set up across the street from Casey Anthony's courthouse.... there must be some what to get reporters near the activity.
