Question about the police on Wall Street - is it only the officers in the white shirts

who have been roughing up demonstrators? I'm not talking about making arrests or rounding people up with the orange fencing (and what's up with that? I'm talking about knocking people down, using mace, etc.

1. The whiteshirts are lieutenants and captains.

Guess they've got the rank to go along with the heft. But, they're too fat to catch you, so they let their mace do the work for them. Most of them.

2. In everything I've seen, it's been the guys in the white shirts being the assholes.

Using the mace; throwing people standing quietly around violent to the ground and jumping on them; squeezing the breath out of a young woman... It always seems to be one of them.

Yesterday they had nicknamed one pretty busy guy "Supervisor Mace and Run." Or something like that.

3. Macing can be an effective tool ... for both sides.

From what I've seen it was totally unjustified.

riiight... we saw the video. The girls did NOT try to physically prevent them from putting up that mesh. They were verbal but not physical. This is such horseshit.
