International Trader: I dream of another recession

International Trader: ‘I Go To Bed Every Night And I Dream Of Another Recession’ |
While European government and financial leaders are scrambling to prevent a financial crisis in the Eurozone that would likely throw the global economy into even more turmoil, stock trader Alessio Rastani took to BBC today to tell the world that traders were looking forward to the possibility of a second big recession. “For most traders, it’s not about – we don’t really care that much how they’re going to fix the economy, how they’re going to fix the whole situation,” he said. “Our job is to make money from it.” Rastani, who also claimed “Goldman Sachs rules the world,” said, “Personally, I’ve been dreaming of this moment for three years…I go to bed every night and I dream of another recession. When the market crashes… if you know what to do, if you have the right plan set up, you can make a lot of money from this.” Watch it:

Wall Street bankers like Rastani, meanwhile, are large donors to the GOP’s presidential frontrunners, who want to repeal the Dodd-Frank financial reform law that was aimed at preventing another financial crisis like the one that wrecked the American economy in 2008.

1. So people who want a crash, who will actually profit from a crash, support the GOP.
That says it all doesn't it?

8. Yes, it does. I wonder how much Eric Cantor
has made off the meltdown so far. He was riding to a sure bet when he voted to reneg on our debts. I wonder how much he's making off this wave of misery?

3. OK, but how does Satan pay for all the infrastructure he's needed over the past few decades?

5. I dream that he ends up broke, homeless and eating out of garbage cans
I guess we all have our dreams.

At least he's honest, he actually tells the truth. :wow: I bet every single one of them feels the same but isn't honest or stupid enough to come right out and say it. :silly:

Everyone should watch the whole 3-minute BBC interview:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-15059135

A lot of people think he's a YesMan, but he seems quite legit. It says something about our times and our media if three minutes of harsh truth on the Beeb seems like a YesMan talking - or a braver Jon Stewart.

7. BTW, he's not Wall Street.
He's from London City, apparently an independent trader. Still a scum of the earth, but when he says Goldman Sachs rules the world, he says it with envy. He's not them.
