They seem almost giddy at the thought of it. Don't they?

Anyone else find that just a little bit unnerving?

1. They had wood for Iraq and Afghanistan, too
they love to watch people suffer.

2. Those guys didn't have nukes, though.
I don't see this as a terribly good idea, and I doubt DOD does, either.

The only thing they could perhaps get behind might be a bloodless coup with absolute cooperation from the clowns who hold the keys to the nuclear treasure house(s)...since all the bits of the weaponry are kept separate from one another.

Still, it's sketchy all round, I fear. That doesn't stop the crazies on the right from getting excited about it, as you note.

3. yeah, a coup is probably what will happen
although I don't think it will be bloodless, just orchestrated from behind the scenes.

5. The problem with a coup - other than ethics - is that it is not at all
clear that there is someone (or some people)who are more trustworthy than Zadari and his government.

4. I find it grossly hypocritical
These are the same people who have been condemning President Obama for his involvement, as small as it has been, in Libya. On one side of their mouths, they have been screaming about how we don't need another war blah, blah, blah... Now, from the other side, they're drooling over fighting in Pakistan? Of course, they came up with that notion, so I guess that makes it okay. If the President had suggested going into Pakistan, they'd raise holy hell over the idea.
