Bill O'Reilly : "Dishonesty in the media is almost at a scandalous level!" |
|
  Yes, this ultimate hypocritical douchebag actually offered up this observation in a (promo) interview for "his" (i.e., ghost-written) new book on the death of Lincoln, this morning on NPR. http://www.npr.org/2011/09/27/140802802/bill-oreilly-abraham-lincoln-was-our-best-leader

3. I don't know what's funnier, the fact that he's the one making the claim or the fact... |
|
that he turns back at the last moment with the "almost".
It's like turning to your friend and saying, "the graphic sexual content in this movie is almost obscene."

Once upon a time there were people like Bob Edwards who would probe that statement.

14. Yeah, he taught High School History for one year. That's the extent |
|
of his teaching "experience" and credentials. Nonetheless, he portrays himself to be an Historian, an Economist, a Philosopher or whatever other field he wishes to attack that day, and his public laps it up.

|
Edited on Tue Sep-27-11 09:41 AM by RZM
Took him a while. Last time he was on with Terry Gross it was a complete debacle. He hung up on her minutes into the interview. NPR's ombudsman actually came kind of close to taking his side in his analysis of that exchange, but if you're such a tough guy Bill, why didn't you stay to argue your points? It made him look like kind of a baby, IMO. Haven't heard this interview - I assume it went a bit better.

Because he has not apologized yet for being 100% wrong on that one, despite his solemn assurance. That seems kind of, I dunno, dishonest on its face. Its blotchy, bloated face.
