19. Definitely. I have seen it in my own pet ...
I am mostly stuck in my bedroom due to a disability, so my parents gifted me with a companion in the form of a sun conure. He has been a blessing to me.

When I wake up in the morning and see him, he screeches happily. He can't wait to get on me, loves to preen me and kiss, cuddle against my neck. He eats dinner when I eat dinner, watching me the whole time. Definitely a little trouble maker, and I can tell he gets a kick out of causing mischief. He's even learned to say 'uh-oh' because we say it so often in his presence. :P

He's picked different people to be allowed different things: I am his companion, my mother is allowed to play with him, my father's allowed to put him on his back and scratch his chest, etc.

My two dogs give me deep pleasure and moments of pure happiness and they make me laugh every single day. You should see the theater they put on when I come home from work!

20. They left out the shot of her
fearfully scolding the cub for playing to close to the cliff.

"Haven't I told you a million times no horsing around over there!"

It would be right before the last one where she's licking and cleaning and comforting.

Mom must have scolded the little one in her own way.

26. Heh. And I think one of the lions trying to help is a male.
I've always read terrible things about male lions. But that one seems nurturant.

and still acts as one with the females...UNTIL...he decides it's time to mate!

39. A nice demonstration of the power of Mom, but from the photos on the thread, the drop cannot be
determined. Would have been more dramatic if that had been captured and maybe it was at the link.
