The incredible unbelievable stupidity of Herman Cain's 9-9-9 plan. |
|
What is it? What is it other than some numbers?
Cain drops the 35% top end income tax rate to 9%!
Cain drops the CORPORATE income tax rate to 9%!
Cain implements a NEW federal sales tax of 9%!
This is fucking incredible! A family making $25,000 gets nothing from this and pays a new 9% federal sales tax!!!! Is there any question as to the absolute DEPRAVITY of these GOP assholes??????????
Obama for 2012~~~~~~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1. I'm willing to bet his plan results in a big drop in revenue |

None of the flat tax plans I've seen works with a low rate.

3. My well-paid boss is on the 9-9-9 bandwagon |
|
I tried to point out how offensive it is to have him crowing about how much money this will save him while it soaks the rest of us lowly peons, but he sees dollar signs, and that blows common sense out of the water.

7. His plan also eliminates estate taxes and capital gains. |
|
Most taxation on the super rich is in the form of capital gains and Cain would take that rate to 0% while imposing a regressive tax burden on the poor and middle class. That's class warfare, social engineering and redistribution of wealth in one package. It's the love child of Milton Friedman and Ayn Rand jacked up on a huge dose of American Enterprise Institute.
Think you are hurting now middle class? Vote for Herman and discover the real meaning of pressure and pain as the policies that have killed you for the last 30 years are taken to their logical extension.

The GOP is "all in" that's for sure.
I absolutely whole-heatedly support a progressive tax system. I am sorry, but if you're rich you can enjoy the many benefits this nation provides. I don't recall reading about rich people in the 50s -when tax rates were very progressive- running to lower income brackets, meaning the incentive was still present even in a progressive tax system (which these right wing rat bastards claim is eradicated with such a tax system).
Once again, facts and logic fail the right...total idiots.
