Good on Ed for covering the Post Office workers! |
|
He even made the HUGE point that the P.O. receives no tax dollars, and went into the 2006 overpayment of health benefits that is a major cause of the financial problems. He interviewed the head of the union.
There were demonstrations all over the country today by the Postal workers. I'll bet they received very little coverage by the corporate media, so I am proud of Ed.
Have you contacted your congress person about the overpayment of health care benefits required by a 2006 law that can be corrected to help solve this problem?

4. That's because one of their donors wants to own it. A stamp |
|
would probably cost $3 or more.

|
the Repugs get the job done.

7. What's with this phrase -- good "on" |
|
I agree, good for Ed.
But, to momentarily go "Ed Newman" on this, the phrase is "good for" not "good on." Where did this come from? It's the same kind of misstatement as:
"All of THE sudden"
"I could care less"
"Ek-cetera"
"Liberry"
"Very close veins"
"Samwich"
"Irregardless"
"None of them WERE"
"It's more better"
Thank you for your attention!

9. he's the only one on MSNBC who ever talks about the working class. |
|
Too many Democratic leaders constantly wring their hands about the middle class, and completely ignore the working class, the people who actually built up the country.
