HaHa...Tweety: "They are so HORNY for Christie.." |
|
"In love with a guy they don't even know, but they know he's sarcastic."
"They are looking for someone to relieve them of the boredom of running with Romney, and the frightening possibility of getting stuck with Perry.
"Looks like they are so out-of-love with what they got."

1. That's pretty much it...they like Christie because he's not any of the other fools... |
|
They'll come to dislike him soon enough.

Although both yours and our pitching seems somewhat suspect this year...

Veterans attempt citizens arrest of Rumsfeld in Boston Posted on 09.27.11 By David Edwards Categories: Activism, Featured Several members of the group Veterans for Peace were escorted out of the Old South Meeting House in Boston Monday night after they attempted a citizen’s arrest of former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld.
“I went down in front and looked Donald Rumsfeld in the eye and said, ‘I’m making a citizen’s arrest,’” protester Nate Goldschlag told WCVB-TV.
“He lied us into Iraq. He lied about weapons of mass destruction. He lied about Saddam Hussein being involved in 9/11.”
Three of the protesters removed from the event were with Veterans for Peace and a fourth was a member of Code Pink. One protester was arrested outside the event for allegedly using a bullhorn to assault a police officer.
Most of the 300 people who had to buy a copy of Rumsfeld’s book, “Known and Unknown,” to attend the event appeared to be fans.
“He’s one of the greatest Americans that has ever lived,” one woman said

11. There's no one truly conservative enough for them |
|
This year, the party wants someone so ideologically pure that only Heinrich Himmler might stand a chance in winning the nomination.

Although now that you mention it, that works just as well :)
I was actually talking about the Democratic side. Many progressives were enthusiastic Obama when he wasn't as much of a known quantity. Now that he's actually governing, the affair is over, at least with a certain segment of the base (I'll leave the exact extent of that dissatisfaction to the many other threads here on that topic).
If Christie did get in, that affair wouldn't last long either and soon you'd hear grumbling about how he isn't conservative enough. Republicans and Democrats are different on many issues, but not as much when it comes to these types of things.

6. Christie is the back-up quarterback |
|
Most popular guy on any struggling team is the second-string quarterback. "Oh, if only that stupid coach would put in Brad Backup, the offense would turn right around." That is, until old Brad is pressed into duty, and it turns out he has a serious case of the yips, panics in the face of a blitz, and can't come off his primary receiver to save his life.

I suppose if I had a penis, and I got a hard on for Michele Bachmann, I might not think it was a bad thing, but I think I'd be kinda creeped out by it.

He has always considered her a loose cannon. Do not confuse his objective analysis of people based on broad "perceptions" on his own personal opinion.

23. I don't have anything confused. |
|
Before the Iowa primary he had more than one conversation with guests and expressed to them how much he liked her. He didn't claim to support her, and I didn't say he did. However, he definitely said he liked her. I wouldn't think he supports Rick Perry either, IIRC Tweety claims to be a democrat.
The OP was about tweety falling out of love with Rick Perry and having the hots for Christie. There was a time tweety had a crush on GW too. Who doesn't remember him slobbering and gushing all over himself when he talked about Bush in his flight suit?
I simply made a comment to the OP about him being fickle and how I recall him reacting to Bachmann.

28. Tweety does not personally like bachmann, palin or perry... When |
|
he commpliments them, he is being objective about their political skills and accessing their appeal to their potential voters. For all the times you can mention how Tweety "likes" bachmann, there are far more times that he has referred to her, palin and perry as flakes and jokes.

He knows it.
His style of bullying bombast might work in Jersey, but out here people see just another loud-mouthed lout being antagonistic to those questioning him, a real mook.

She's waiting in the wings, boys. Notice how she has tried to stay out of the direct public eye for awhile? Absence makes the teagagger hearts grow fonder, donchaknow. Any day, I expect a triumphal entry on a white horse as Sarah gushes into town. She's holding her water now, boys. She's good at that, you betcha. She has superhuman powers. And she already believes she is entitled to be crowned queen of the USA. I am not writing her out just yet. And the media loves her gaffes, her guns and whatever body parts they focus on. She is great for ratings. Hard on the blood pressure.
Me? I hope she's done for. I never, however, underestimate an "ex-beauty queen runner-up in high heels." Women who hold such titles are in my experience devious, backstabbing, bitchy, manipulative and full of themselves. And they have the female version of Napoleonic complexes. She's Bush with boobs. And I fear she will return like a bad case of vaginal itch.
