Not that I am for certain, but is this the political game the Obama administration has been playing with the right wing.

Let them become more and more extreme, more and more emboldened to go farther to the edge, to give the Tea Party the gas it has needed to burn it's engine out.


It's possible, and I hope I am right.

Their dirty deeds are extreme and numerous and over about two generations which makes the tactic seem redundant and somewhat doomed to failure.

Perhaps somewhere along the line we tie off the rope before they can lie down deep in the valley below their gallows?
