It's kind of simple, really. As more & more people move leftward,
the Forces of Reaction scramble desperately to make sure that fewer and fewer people vote (or have their vortes counted accurately).

What they are overlooking is that the vote is not the only way the common people have available to express themselves.

Madison, Wall Street, it's just beginning.

And, as has often been pointed out, the wealthy are a very small minority, while the people are a sleeping dragon.


I guess maybe our interminable Middle Eastern wars will end when the plutocrats decide they have a more desperate need for the troops at home.

But that will perhaps be a fatal mistake.

1. maybe that is why the virtual media blackout. if they don't show it then it isn't happening.
At some point people will get it. I wish I could be there.

4. well look what happened in wisconsin. there was a media blackout of that too
and it didn't stop it... just grew bigger over time. i hope this is the start of something. I am not sure though.

8. In most polls, liberal positions win.
Universal health care, end the wars, raise taxes on the rich, save SS, etc. M$M arte pushing an alternate reality..

9. Given that the enlisted ranks are almost 100% working class, the
ruling class depending on the enlisted soldiers to attack the people will be a dicey proposition, imho. Sure, enlisted folks are trained to follow the chain of command, but if ordered to fire on fellow working class civilians, I think you might see that chain of command start to disintegrate pretty quickly.
