‘Occupy Denver’ protester: We’re standing against corporate rule

A group of demonstrators have begun gathering in front of the Denver capitol building to show their solidarity with the “Occupy Wall Street” protesters in New York City. The “Occupy Denver” protesters said that more than 200 people joined their demonstration on Saturday.

“We are standing against corporate rule in this country, how they’ve taken over our politics, our schools, our unions — the union busting is horrible,” one protester told Denver Direct on Friday. “The big banks need to pay.”

4. I drove by but couldn't join in....

I'd bet that I was the only one driving along Colfax that knew what it was all about. As I waved, honked and gave them my thumbsup, everyone else was just ignoring them, but the protestors "ate it up". Good crowd with a line that seemed to run about four blocks. Denver Police appeared to be giving them their free reign--only on hand to direct traffic.

I DID notice two or three obvious (Ron) Paulites with their "end the FED" signs, so it seems their threatened "infiltration' has been pretty weak.
