1. Not yet
As far as I know, but www.whitehouse.gov promises a response to any petition that collects a 5,000 signatures within 30 days. "Recognize the men and women who are occupying wall street," which was started on September 23 has 8,355 as of now.

2. Does he recognize anybody who can't write a massive campaign check?
I think we know who's side HE'd be on on Wall Street.

19. Actually, if it was anything, it was about sweetening the idea
of keeping the Bush Tax Cuts in place(as they will now probably be, forever).

He was able to use that and the pathetically small extension in unemployment benefits to argue that he GOT something for caving.

9. He should read more....
A revolution is coming: a revolution which will be peaceful if
we are wise enough; compassionate if we care enough;
successful if we are fortunate enough. But a revolution which
is coming whether we will it or not. We can affect its
character; we cannot alter its inevitability.

16. Obama will not recognized them until they have won or he can negotiate away whatever they have won.
Edited on Sun Oct-02-11 09:05 AM by ThomWV
Because if its not at least half a Republican idea he sees no value in it.

25. I'm sure he wants the protests to go away. They make his tenure look like a failure when
his supporters are out in the street protesting more than they protested Bush.

26. What exactly should he address?
There is no clear demand or goal. What, other than saying he will fire his entire administration would people appreciate?
