3. I just asked the question in another thread whether I was imagining

the fact that when Bush was doing this stuff there was not a single Democrat here defending it.

Thank you so much for doing the research, my memory is that not one Democrat I ever encountered, here or anywhere else, ever once defended this dangerous policy. I argued endlessly with Rightwingers though, who supported it because Bush was president and they could not see the danger, blinded as they were by partisanship.

And now I see almost identical arguments to theirs coming from the Left and it is so disturbing.
