Three Weeks Later And NO Action on The JOBS Bill...Why..
Edited on Sun Oct-02-11 12:16 PM by rsmith6621

....Because both Democratic and Republican lawmakers are trying figure out a way not to piss off their $$$ BASE A.K.A Corporate contributors to their campaign. They are like contestants on Dancing With The Stars...trying to find the right steps to please their judge.

We must get corporate money out of politics....no more than $100 per candidate per person.....OCCUPY....Whatever city you live in.

4. I'm inclined to think if the Chamber of Commerce hated it so bad they wouldn't
have written most of it.

This one is not about corporate money in any direct sense, there isn't anything that hurts big money and no lack of boons, really.

Look at the proposal and tell me what big money would be opposed to. Ignore the cheers and jeers and look at what the plan is and tell me how there is a net negative for business interests (or where the net positive jobs come from but that is for another conversation).

6. They had to wait until after the 30th. I agree.
When they ALL get around to running this country again, maybe we'll get something done. They are in perpetual campaign-mode.
