Just had a thought about Elizabeth Warren's campaign. |
|
Not only will the right hate to see her elected senator.
They will really hate trying to campaign against her because of the issues that she will raise as campaign issues.
This may have implications not just for her race, but for other races too.

2. Just one more good reason to donate to her campaign. I have twice now, and will again. |

8. She's the latest savior |
|
I did like what she said about people using the government roads and education and then pretending they did it all themselves. But I've been slow to learn about her. But on DU it appears she is the anointed savior. Interesting to see if she gets elected and then disappoints them somehow. There's bound to be one Senate vote that will be her undoing as savior.

10. I think people ought to realize it's true that no two people think exactly |
|
alike. 80% is already out of the ordinary, and 90% is almost impossible. If they really believe this, they won't be too disappointed when their favorite politician every now and then thinks differently from them.

9. It's true and it's sad for those who are truly talented in the mix. |

But Warren has something about her that is star material, and I don't mean to tear her down at all. She has the message and always has. It seems baked in, with her. That is what makes her so appealing.

12. She has five opponents, and two are formidable. |
|
What she has, and they don't, is national presence. That will translate into better committee assignments in the Senate.
If she can push past the primary, and get the field to work with her to GOTV, she can win this.
I think Bob Massie will give her a run for her money--he's been on a listening tour since Jan.

13. National presence is important after the election but local presence is needed |
|
to get elected.
Alan Khazei has that.

14. I just posted an article in LBN--EW is in a dead heat w/Brown! |
|
Deval or PKennedy would poll better, per the published results .... now, anyway.
It's early days and so many people are not yet attentive, but that is heartening.
If she can bring it during a debate, win the primary, and get Khazei, Massie et.al. to push hard behind her, she could kick that nekkid senator to the curb.
I'm hoping!
