The clearest video of Brooklyn Bridge during few minutes before protesters walked on the road
This may take longer to load than some videos, because it's in the MOV format:
http://glassbeadcollective.org/wallstreetoccupation/bridsge3_h264_sd.mov

The video shows a row of cops facing the protesters near the front of the bridge as one of the cops reads a warning into a bullhorn.

Some cops are talking on phones/walkie-talkies.

Then all the cops turn around and walk towards the road of the bridge with the crowd following.

If those cops had continued to face the crowd and stand there, the crowd would have kept standing there.

The crowd couldn't move with the pedestrian lane, since people on it were standing still.

The crowd apparently got the impression that the cops had received different orders while one of them was reading the warning and that the cops decided to lead them over the bridge.

4. The initial NYT story was that the cops lead everyone onto the bridge,
let a small number leave, and arrested the rest.

5. The NYPD gave them a warning but I wouldn't qualify it as a clear one
From where the camera of this video was positioned, I could barely hear what the police officer was saying. The protestors stood there as the cops stood there, as soon as the cops started backing up and moving forward on the bridge, the protestors followed. There's a phrase similar, "Leading lamb to slaughter." Only in this case, they led the lambs to mass arrest.

The one leading the take the bridge chant during the warning?

I'd like to get a clear shot of his shoes.
