Roseanne Barr: Behead bankers who don’t give up wealth
...... Part of my platform is, of course, that the guilty must be punished and that we can no longer let our children see the guilty get away with murder. Because it teaches them that they don’t have to have any morals and as long as they have guns and are bullies that they’ll win. And I don’t think that’s a good message.”

“I do say that I am for the return of the guillotine and that is for the worst of the worst of the guilty.”

She added: “I first would allow the guilty bankers the ability to pay back anything over $100 million personal wealth because I believe in a maximum wage of $100 million. And if they are unable to live on that amount then they should go to the re-education camps and if that doesn’t help then be beheaded.”

7. I suspect that Roseanne is worth around $100 million
as she has probably set her arbitrary maximum wealth number at the amount of money that she herself has.

9. Nothing is stopping her from writing a check for half her wealth, made out to, "U.S. Treasury."
I heard that some congressmen are considering a bill to put an additional tax on the entertainment industry (actors, directors, etc.), if higher corporate taxes go through. If true, it sounds like Republicans trying to make a point, and embarrass people like Roseanne, who have spoken out against the current system. They expect the people in Hollywood to change their tune when their ox is being gored. What if they don't, though? What if the actors, like Alex Baldwin, Susan Sarandon, etc, actually put their money where their mouth is? That would be a game-changer. Who knows, though? I am just speculating.

11. There's a big difference between tax on investment income and tax on wage income.
Hollywood actors are already paying the highest marginal rate on wage income, if it's over $374K or so. The bugaboo is that investment income has a max rate of 15%, no matter how many millions it is. That's flat out not right.

15. I wonder if she would mind if some of Hawaii's homeless
set up camp on her 46 acre macadamia farm in Honokaa and grew something more appropriate to feed the hungry?

14. Love Roseanne -- and think reference to "guillotine" is simply reminder re French Revolution, as in
"Hey, it can happen" --

Roseanne Barr is on the side of democracy --

and would be she is against capital punishment -- !!
