Would you trust a Tea Bagger with their finger on the nuclear button? |
|
Edited on Mon Oct-03-11 12:23 PM by Cyrano
Then again, would you trust any Republican who kisses the asses of the Tea Baggers, with their finger on the nuclear button?
Right now, our biggest problems are jobs, rampant unemployment, and hundreds of people losing their homes every day. To be blunt, the America we've known is dying. Do you really believe any Tea Bagger or Republican gives a damn about any of this? Do you really believe any Tea Bagger or Republican cares if we "peasants" live or die?
But let me get back to my basic point. Anyone who would trust these people with the power to launch nuclear weapons, would probably trust a pit bull to babysit an infant. Who's to say they wouldn't push that button to blow away ever Muslim and every other "THEM" in the world? Does anyone actually believe that Tea Baggers are capable of rational thought?
I don't know how to say this any more clearly, but these people are crazy. And if you think that's too strong a statement, let me put it more delicately. They have a world view that the majority of reasonable people on this planet would consider insane.
Ignore this post at your own peril. Next year, we are going to be voting for a President, all of the members of the House of Representatives, and 1/3 of our Senators. Who do you want running things?
As many qualms as I have with the Democrats, I'm going to get out there and work my ass off for all of them, Obama included. They are a disappointment to us, and far too many of them suck. But consider the alternative. And no, it's not just the difference between the lesser of two evils. It could very well mean the survival of sanity, as well as the survival of human beings who care about the well being of other human beings.

at the controls of a Predator drone armed with hellfire missiles? No US citizen, anywhere in the world, would be safe.

Giving them access to nuclear weapons is a sure way to get a self-fulfilling prophecy.

11. "Consider the Alternative" |
|
Is that Obama's campaign slogan? Who else has the button I'm suppose to tell people to fear? Iran? I need a clearer message and so far I'm having a hard time coming up with one and keeping a straight face.
Seriously, gonna have to do a lot better than this to win an election in 2012.

13. Had someone told me after the 2008 |
|
election that less than three years later the "wars" would have escalated, I would have called them crazy.
The button? That's political fear mongering right out of the 50's. You really are going to have to come
up with a better platform. Here's a novel idea, deescalate the fucking wars, how about that? Might actually
get Obama re-elected. 72% of American's support an end!! What's wrong with you for thinking this lame,
stale slogan's are going to work this time.
