"Occupy L.A." Protesters Demonstrate Outside City Hall

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (KTLA) -- Protesters inspired by the "Occupy Wall Street" demonstrations in New York camped outside City Hall in downtown Los Angeles for a third day on Monday.

The loosely organized group, called "Occupy Los Angeles," is protesting what it perceives as corporate greed. It hopes to encourage social change and political involvement.

The protests have focused on City Hall, but some demonstrators also gathered outside the courthouse in downtown L.A., where the high-profile manslaughter trial of Michael Jackson's doctor, Conrad Murray, is taking place.

A protest march around City Hall is planned for 5 p.m. Monday.

It's a version of the free, downloadable posters at http://www.occupytogether.org/downloadable-posters/ . The artwork was donated by the graphic artists. Many home and office printers are able to print 17" x whatever banners. Larger vinyl two-color banners aren't really very expensive anymore. Can you say "donations?"
