Supreme Court rejects bid to disqualify Obama as president
Source: Raw Story

WASHINGTON — The US Supreme Court Monday slapped down a new bid seeking to show that Barack Obama was ineligible to be elected president of the United States in the 2008 White House race.

The nation’s highest court refused to take up a case brought by three people “who claim President Barack Obama is not a natural born citizen of the United States of America and, hence, is ineligible to be the president,” court documents said.

The nine justices, meeting as they opened a new term, thus upheld a August 2010 California appeals court ruling which found that the “plaintiffs’ contentions lack merit.”

The appeals court also argued “the presidential nominating process is not subject to each of the 50 states’ election officials independently deciding whether a presidential nominee is qualified, as this could lead to chaotic results.”

2. I really don't like making fun of a person's name, but this still made me rofl...
Someone on some message board a long time ago calls her Oily Taint, I got so used to that being her name that I forget her real name more often than not.

8. I can't believe they were allowed to waste all that time, money, and effort
when their entire premise was a lie to begin with. I'm glad they were slapped down with that crap. The birth certificate is out there and it proves Obama was born in the U.S. Why didn't they stop their stupid case when they were proven wrong months ago?

Just think: all the time, money and effort they wasted barking up the wrong tree based on a lie could have been spent to feed hungry people during the holidays and actually could have done some good. Instead, they just wasted their time and worse yet, they wasted the taxpayers' time.
