3. there is still "nigger cape" "cape nègre" here in the var where i live |
|
and the right wing president sarkozy goes on vacation on cap nègre.... just like there are still cakes called "niggerheads" "tête de nègre" sold in some bakeries. i changed bakeries due to this as no bakery that sells such a named cake will ever get another euro of my money.
not changing the names of these places and cakes in france is a national embarrasment.

4. You're equating different names to the same slur. |
|
Do you really think that's fair?

6. Some of those names simply indicate "black"... |
|
Are we afraid of a (lack of) color now? Should we change the the language of several countries to re-define the word? You've gone too far.

9. If foreign words that translate to "black" offend you, then I'm just sorry for you. |
|
Stay away from Hawaii. They have black sand beaches for miles and miles. Simply visiting there will likely give you a heart attack.
Sometimes nature just has no consideration for our delicate natures.

11. It's specifically a term describing racial blackness. |
|
If the Hawaiian beaches were called Negro sand beaches you may have had a point.
