I'm not involved in organizing this, but will try to stop by at some point. From what I've seen in the forums/tweets this is a pretty tame group of mainly dems. Tax the super rich, regulate, etc... Still I am in Solidarity with those who resist. It's gotta start somewhere.

11. OCCUPY WALL STREET folks need sleeping bags and/or $$ to buy them. And Food.

According to last night's meeting:
"Mainly we need sleeping bags. Sleeping bags cost money and no one is donating sleeping bags. With that in mind we have a proposal to use some of the donated money to buy sleeping bags."

They estimate 400 people and growing have been actually sleeping in the main park area.
