What was the Tea-Party "cause" and why were all the talking heads on TV
asking "what is their cause? what do they want?" everytime there was a story on about the Teabaggers?

Oh, that's right - the media never really asked that, did they?

1. No because it was all scripted complete with PR packaging delivered
to the news stations.

What ever this is that is brewing down on Wall Street doesn't have the PR arm of the republican party.

No democrat is going to embrace this until they see which way the wind blows and that is all we should expect from political figures.

The difference was the message of the TB was put in place before TB one stepped out in front of a fox news camera.

2. Conservative protests = "concerned citizens against overreach and wasteful spending".
Liberal protests = "Directionless Deluded Anarchist Slackers who Don't Know How the World Works".

The 7 corporations' marching orders, and all that . . .

3. I think perhaps people would have started asking that
if they plopped down in one place for a month in a semi-permeant fashion...

4. Before the Republican Party took them over. Anger at the
Banks, Anti-Nafta. General Feeling the American
People were being screwed.

The GOP, Koch Bros, Chamber of Commerce changed that
to get rid of government and no taxes. (exaggeration
but i think you get my point)

7. Until they got co-opted - they shared a lot of similarity in that - doubt
they see themselves that way now - but they're part of the 99%

5. Didn't it start with opposition to HCR?
If memory serves, that is where it really took off. From what I have been able to gather, their specific goal is to be anti- Obama. Anti- Obama success and re-election.

6. Maybe the reason the media doesn't want to say it's against
the banks and system is they are afraid the TPs will join them.

8. The tea bagger cause was a Koch brother corporate rigged cause. The corporate media, as it does so
well, pushed the teabagger rigged corporate narrative and whenever the Koch brothers gathered, paid, fed and bussed in thousands of teabaggers to any given location, the corporate media was there to cover the fraudulent insanity to help give it exposure and legs.

The corporate media never asked certain questions of the teabaggers, because they were in on the corporate fraud and paid to cover it in a certain way. Remember when health care was being debated and all of those "average citizens" crowded into the town halls? That too was rigged by corporate pigs like the Koch brothers and the corporate media, as usual, covered the story in a very specific way.

All of that yelling and screaming at the health care town halls was scripted by the corporations who did not want health care reform, it was all rigged. Imagine Democrats at that time closing the town halls down for fear of the violence, stopping people from using their video cameras and only meeting with constituents who could afford to pay to get in to the town hall meeting like the Republicans recently did when real constituents spoke out against them?

It's all been rigged for a very long time now, and finally, people get it and are taking to the streets to try and stop the corporations from finally privatizing and taking over everything, "the real people" who are not corporate sponsored, have made their move, and since it is not corporate approved, it has not easily gotten the attention of the corporate media. It took violence and abuse committed by police against non violent and civil protesters, to really get the attention of the corporate owned media. They were forced to cover the occupation.

We are the 99% and we will no longer allow the corporations to buy or rig our elections, we will no longer accept tax cuts, tax subsidies and tax loopholes for the rich, while draconian cuts are forced upon the majority and earned benefits are attacked and put on the chopping block. We will not allow unions to be busted and silenced, we will never again allow wall street to run amok without regulation that allowed them to create fraudulent financial instruments that they knew were destined to fail as they made billions and the rest of us lost everything, we will not allow a biased, right leaning Supreme Court, to make activist rulings in favor of the powerful and their corporations in order to give them person hood and free reign to buy more and more power in our government.

These are just some of the "real" things that the 99% are fighting against that the corporations are fighting to continue using all of their power, their money, and all of their bought and paid for government positions and judgeships in federal and state governments, school boards etc. around this nation and around this globe.
