Book to honor fallen service members

Bellevue University is looking for submissions for a book, "We Will Never Forget," that will serve as a tribute to armed forces members who have fallen since the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

Submissions will be accepted through Jan. 15 for the book, which is being compiled and published by Bellevue University. The book is slated for release on Memorial Day next year.

"Given the anniversary of 9/11, we wanted to come up with a way to say thank you and let the service members know we appreciate them and their efforts," said Jim Maxwell, BU's associate director of public relations.

Submissions are requested from family and friends of fallen service members that served in all branches of the U.S. military. Designed to honor veterans and to pay special tribute to fallen service members, the book will offer anecdotal snapshots of those that lost their lives defending America.
