Chris Christie Will Not Seek Presidency, Advisers Confirm

Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey has decided not to seek the presidency, according to two sources who were told of his decision.

Mr. Christie is scheduled to announce his decision at a news conference in the state capital at 1 p.m. But two sources said Tuesday morning that the governor will not pursue the Republican nomination.

The decision ends a late flurry of indecision on the part of Mr. Christie, who had been encouraged by a growing number of Republican donors and activists who had hoped he would add his name to the field of candidates vying to challenge President Obama.

6. He's going to consult with Hucklebee on how to lose weight and run in 2016
I think he believes that Obama will beat any of these losers on the GOP side, and so he will bide his time. He will run when there is an open race on both sides in 2016.

12. All along I've heard him say he's not running.
Certainly the right has been actively trying recruit him, and the press has a self serving interest in a candidate that makes headlines, but I took Christie on his word from almost day one. Every time he says "no", the media begins a silly analysis of what he means. The media's frenzied scramble to find various definitions of the word "no" gives inspiration to date rapists nationwide.

Personally I think Christie wants the White House next time, whenever that is. He wont be too old and has time to groom himself and prepare his public legacy before he runs. Meanwhile, the obvious lack of comments on the other candidates keeps his bridges intact in case someone needs a vice president this time.

13. supposedly his wife talked with mrs. bush about the job...
guess she found out...also...she works for Cantor Fitzgerald as a part time trader...probably not good for a candidate at this time.

CNN had a spot about candidates wives...

(IMO)he is a loud mouth bully in a sumo wrestler suit....
