Just a quick historic note on the demands
Edited on Tue Oct-04-11 10:56 AM by nadinbrzezinski
but, but they are not focused?

Well they are, but let's clarify one point about movements. Usually when they emerge and are actually populist events you see MANY demands. It take a while for them to get focused and distilled into something that you can spout off in tea party fashion... a huge clue that this tea party movement was not grass roots (CNN international made that comparison in the morning... yes I was laughing my ass off... this is the tea party of the left).

So as the weeks move on you will see these series of demands distill themselves into clear ones. Patience... but one of the clear ones already and from the begining is that the system needs reform if it is going to respond to you and me.

Oh and yes watching this from abroad is ahem... educational at some levels.

Once I can type more... I will.
